April | Waikiki Beach Bombers | | Lately there was a concert here in Freising, where I went to!
"Waikiki Beach Bombers" were playing and I really like them! Their songs are a mix between hillbilly, country, punk, ska, reggae and hawaiksounds of the 50ies und 60ies! And the best thing about them is, that the drummer studied brewery science here in Freising once. So he knows still a lot of people and it’s really fun with all the anecdotes. After the concert we went to my favorite pub here “Carlitos”, also called “the mean C”. And there we met the Waikikis again!
Was a great evening/night! See the pics!
Next day was very exhausting! And I had to go the IAESTE-office. We had a work-day. Which means, that we wanted to clean up the office and do some other important things!

April | | | Yeah, it’s beergarden-time!
Now the one in front of my house is also opened. Certainly I had to test if it’s still the same feeling being there than last summer! It was brilliant!

April | Hellabrunn - Zoo Munich 01.04.06 | | Georg, Frank and I decided, we have to get some more knowledge about Munich and Bavaria! So the first thing we wanted to do, was going to the zoo and in case the weather wouldn't be good, to "deutsches Museum" (german museum, biggest technical museum in the world!).
Okay this should happen Saturday, 01.04. In the morning, when the alarm told me I have to get up now, it was so awful! It was the morning after the pubtour and the little party in our flat! I really had a hangover. I wasn't sure if we really should to the trip, but the weather was so great, so we had to go! And I haven't been to the zoo in Munich for a quite long time! But I didn't feel bad like Georg. He returned to home on half of the way to Munich...he really shouldn't drink so much ;)
Frank and I decided to go anyway. And to my opinion itwas a brilliant decision. We saw a lot of baby animals and the weather was so great. Sunshine all the time!
At noon we went to the beergarden in the zoo and had something to eat and certainly we had good beers! Being refreshed like that we could explore the rest of the zoo!
We had a lot of fun there, as you can see on the pictures about that trip!
Later in the evening, when we came back home, we made Pizza together with Georg. He meanwhile recovered and could take part in our evening-event! The Pizza was so yummi, but it was so much. There was more toping than dough!

April | Sunshine and FIFA | |
I'm taking part at the soccer-world-championship in Germany this June!!!
This is not a joke! Okay, Jürgen Klinsmann didn't discover my talents so far and I'm not playing for the german team! But I will be a part of the opening ceremony which will be straight before the opening game between Germany and Costa Rica!!! You can see me on tv. Don't miss it, when I'm jumping on the holy grass of the "Allianz Arena" in Munich!
I will let you know in which corner you can see me!!!

April | Last friday or Susi was in Freising! | | Last friday my friend Susi came to visit me and after a warm-up-beer at my flat, we started for testing new cocktail bars in the city. The first one we wanted to go to, seemed like you have to be a turkish pensioner. I don't know, who told us to go there.

Okay nevermind, we just went on to the next pub! And this was better, it was a mexican cantina. We went inside and it was nearly empty. At once the owner came to us and told us, we had to pay an entrance fee. At first we where not sure wether we should stay, pay 10€ and then only pay 1€ for any drink they have there (also cocktails) or we should leave, because it was so empty and it was already after midnight. But then the owner made us a special offer, so that we didn't have to pay the entrance fee and the cocktails were only 4,50€!!! So we stayed and had some cocktails! They were really brilliant.

After a while we moved on to "Live", one of the pubs I'm usual in, if every other is closed. It's not really a good pub, but anyway it's the only one which is opened then and there are most of the time people I know! So we went there and had some more beers. After a while I was so tired that we decided to go home. I wanted to sleep, but when we came home, there were 3 friends of one of my flatmates coming and we had a after-party in our flat! Don't ask any further, the next morning was awful and we wanted to go to the zoo in Munich.
Anyway it was a great evening with a lot of fun!

April | News | | Yeah, it's me! I'm still alive! I'm really quite sorry, that I didn't write the last days. I was so busy :)
One of the best things, which happened meanwhile is the fact, that I have bought a new camera...so I can show you how life is going on here.

Here you can see, what I see, if I look out of my window. It's taken in the morning when the sun was rising and we had a really amazing spring-day! It's the dome of Freising. Here our new pope studied a long time and he was also bishop there. So it's quite famous meanwhile!
